III. Technical Architecture
In keeping with our philosophy of substance over signaling, the website is engineered with zero framework bloat:
- Core: Pure semantic HTML5 and modern modular CSS with CSS Custom Properties.
- JavaScript Engine: 100% lightweight Vanilla JS powering the Cmd+K command palette, dark/light theme switching with
localStoragepersistence, and client-side bookmarking. - Performance: 100/100 Lighthouse Performance rating with sub-second page loads and zero layout shifts (CLS = 0).
- Hosting: Deployed statically on GitHub Pages under the custom domain
thegentle.men.
IV. Ethical Independence
The Gentle Men accepts zero paid advertorial placements, paid product reviews, or undisclosed affiliate sponsorships. Every tool, object, or workshop featured in our pages has been independently selected and researched.
